CARNIVAL CRUISE LINES GOLD CARD/BLUE CARD?

ive got my grumpy pareants to go on a cruise and they were telling me that they went on a cruise a carnival cruise in 81 and they dident have any colored cards they had keys for the rooms. ive went on a carnival cruise last year they werent with me and i got a blue card so im going to get a gold card and an invitation to some party thing i the audotouream but i want to know if they will also get a gold card and a invitation???
