Get her back or leave it be?

So here's the situation. I hang out with this girl for a month...we have agreat time-sleepovers, sex, dinner, movies...anyways out of nowhere she tells me after a month she still has feelings for her recent ex (a dude who cheated on her) after seeing him. So she tells me she wants to stay friends. I ask her her idea of friendship and she says texting and talking on facebook and hanging out with friends and stuff. I tell her Im not interested in being her friend at the present time. She keeps insisiting we be friends and keep in touch. Finally I got her to just except we werent going to stay in touch and I left. Now heres the deal. Her ex is a moron and I like her. At this point is there any hope for me to split these two up for good and move in or have I been friend zoned? THanks.
